Allison Kenney was born on June 8, 1994, in Redwood City, California. She loves writing novels as well as the arts. Like Freak, she has been diagnosed with Apert's syndrome as a baby, and while growing up, it has affected her emotionally, causing her to be bullied and treated differently from everyone else. She has recently started junior college. This is the first real novel she has written, and she hopes that it will inspire others to enjoy high school and learn the lessons that the story shows.
