My name is Sheila Tucker. I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. This book was written by my mom, Lucille Learn. She passed away in 1997. She wrote this book for her first granddaughter (Cynthia Darlene Sheppard Hicks) who had freckles. Cindy was about four and blonde hair and blue eyes, but she had the red-hair temperament that goes with red-headed people. She really hated the freckles, so my mom wrote this book to help her deal with her freckle spots. After my mom passed, I found this book again in some old papers. And I wondered if I should try to get it published to honor my mom. So here it is. Pass it on to your sweet children and grandchildren to enjoy!
