As the days went on, I began to focus on as many different media sources as I could. I phased out those who displayed the same images and video clips repeatedly, looking for reports that focused on the people, their plight, heartaches, pain, and anguish. The human part of the story is always the most compelling. It is in this light, that my heartbeat began to change. I began to feel a calling that would become stronger with each day, and sometimes with every hour, that passed.
This is a short story about self discovery as I pushed the boundaries of mental preparedness for War.
