Gay Kamber Seltzer was born in Dillion, Montana, attended the University of Oregon, and graduated from Pomona College in 1959. A retired teacher, Gay began losing her vision in her late 60s. With the aid of modern technology and training for the blind, she has resumed her writing career. Now blind, she lives with her husband in Phoenix, Arizona, and tries to keep her retirement community active.
