The Special Investigating Unit of the NYPD Narcotics Division was the most corrupt law enforcement agency in American history. Some members of the unit used illegal wiretaps to obtain information on big-time drug dealers then, using that information, would set them up and rob them of their drugs and money. Everything was kept in the Property Room on Broome Street, and over the space of a few years, almost all of the drugs confiscated and held there were stolen, including those from The French Connection.

This theft, with a street value of $70,000,000, has been referred to as the biggest heist in American history.

A young cop discovered how they were doing this and got involved in a secret investigation that put not only his life but the lives of his family and friends...and even his sanity...in jeopardy. This is his story.
