Autorenporträt
Loanne Rhymes is a poet, writer, and author of this new book 'From Hell To Well': . Loanne's experience with trauma both from childhood and beyond are reflected in her poems. She hopes that this book will help people who have experienced trauma to realise that they are not alone, and they have the power to recover from their injuries and regain self-esteem, using the multitude of therapy and coping techniques that are available. She states "I am not saying therapy will magically fix the wounded parts of you, therapy can help you be self-aware on a daily practice and to allow love and happiness and true acceptance of self. It may be cliché to say but it's true, if this book helps even a handful of people I will be happy. It is uplifting to know that what I went through in my life can be used for good, to raise awareness of the effects of trauma. The power to change your self-concept is within you".
