Autorenporträt
Joan R. Neubauer established herself as a freelance writer in 1987 and has since sold a variety of articles to both regional and national publications. A graduate of West Chester University in Pennsylvania, Joan taught Spanish and English-As-A-Second-Language for a number of years before pursuing a second career as a writer. In 1990, she founded Word Wright International as a copywriting firm to serve the writing needs of Houston’s business community. However, Joan soon recognized a different need and her company now specializes in helping people write their life stories. On the subject of autobiographies, Joan says: “They are by far the most enthralling adventures I’ve had as a writer and they make me wonder how many other wonderful stories there are to tell.” In addition to writing, she now teaches classes, conducts workshops, and frequently addresses groups where she educates her audiences as a businesswoman, educator, and writer.
