Autorenporträt
Damon Silas, Psy.D., CH, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in DC and Maryland, as well as a Consulting Hypnotist. He received his doctoral degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2002; and his Bachelor's Degree from Howard University in 1997, also in Washington, DC. He has extensive and diverse experience working with children and adolescents on the autistic spectrum, as well as with the military population. Damon specializes in trauma and PTSD. Damon currently resides in Suitland, MD, with his husband Tim and their dog Lamont. He is originally from Massachusetts, where his immediate family resides. Damon is an avid dancer and amongst other local dance companies, has been a part of the Culture Shock DC Dance Troupe since 2002. He is the Artistic Director for the adult chapter of this organization, Afta Shock DC, and also serves as a Board member for Culture Shock DC. Damon is an advocate for Alzheimer's research. In his down time, Damon enjoys staying active and continuously learning.
