Autorenporträt
Terrance Donnell Taylor was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Harvey, Louisiana. Terrance grew up as the eldest boy out of 10 beautiful children and the second born, having to raise his little brothers and sisters because his mother was at work and his father was absent. Terrance learned responsibility, promptness, caring, and how to work diligently at a very young age. Having a deep passion for family and religion, Terrance realized he had to do something to help his African community. He saw the struggles within his own community related to a crippling public school system, drugs, alcohol, corrupt politicians and religious figureheads. Terrance worked as a Sheriff's Deputy in Jefferson Parish, where he saw firsthand the violence in his streets. After 5 years in the department, Terrance left Louisiana for California. Terrance now resides in Sacramento, California and is determined to tell his story to the world.
