Is there a way to communicate with a person who is dying in a way that brings us - and them - peace?

Is there a way to communicate with a person who is dying in a way that brings us - and them - peace?

Lara Rodwell's father received a bleak prognosis, which left her with a choice: pray for a miracle, or accept the inevitable. Instinctively, she knew she had to prepare for the worst.

She didn't want there to be a single question she didn't ask him, a meaningful memory they didn't reminisce over, or anything about his life she didn't know. She longed to have a physical keepsake of the relationship they shared. And she took every chance she had to tell him how grateful she felt for everything he had given to her.

Now, Lara is passionate about using her delicate foresight and compassion to shape a more authentic and honest conversation around death, loss and grief. This book is more than a guided journal; it is a heartfelt memoir, which the author hopes will impact many people's lives as they navigate the same path.

Autorenporträt
Lara Rodwell is a qualified yoga teacher specialising in mental health, youth development, and holistic well-being practices. She has a degree in Fine Art (BA) and writes and paints to creatively express her thoughts, feelings, and emotions in physical form. She thrives off her spiritual practice and strongly believes in the healing power of the mind and body. After her father received a sudden prognosis in March 2020, they wrote to each other to gain insight and closure through questions, letters, and poetry. The peace this gifted her was profound, as the words they shared inspired deep healing and gratitude during the last few months of her father's life. She highlights the power of creative expression in times of adversity, with the hope to inspire individuals to nurture their own emotional wellbeing.
