Love gives life its purpose and meaning, most of the joy, and most of the losses too. A life rich in love will have large doses of both; it is a package deal. I choose more of both, not less, and the result is a life of so many loves, so many cherished others, so many losses, and so many opportunities to learn how to do all this loving well.

Mostly these learnings come from doing it less than well. I choose the path of love anyway, trusting the process to transform my heart into greater compassion, both for myself and others.
