During these times Kim found faith that helped her accept her disability and to forgive her father when he was diagnosed with cancer. Kim says, 'The reason why I called this book 'Full Circle' is that it showcases the suburbs I have lived in throughout my life in the city of Newcastle. I started at Belmont where I was born and have come back to Belmont at this point in my life. I feel that God has led me my whole life even before I found Him, and He has always been there helping me to endure the many obstacles and challenges that I have faced. I have never let my disability define who I am, and I have not let it stop me from doing the things I love which have helped shape my life to the person I am today.'
