Autorenporträt
Mrs. Evelyn Bass has over 20 years in the educational sector, ranging from senior administration, to training teachers on effective learning strategies to teaching children in the classroom. She earned her undergraduate degree from Arkansas Baptist College and her Masters from Quachita Baptist University in Education. After retiring from the Pulaski County Special School District, she continued her career in the private school sector, working as a teacher at Leneas Children Cottage, a school established by the church where she is a member at Abundant Grace Apostolic Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. She served as an early childhood coordinator for Arkansas Education Television Network(AETN) training and developing workshops for parents and children. Mrs. Bass has received a number of accolades, awards and national recognitions; a few that she is most proud of include being appointed to the Arkansas Early Childhood Commission from 2008-2010 by Governor Beebe and was re-appointed to serve in the same capacity from 2010-2016. She has also been recognized in the Marquis Whos Who in 1999, 2003 and 2006 and in Whos Who Americans Teacher in 2000. Mrs. Bass also serves as the host of a podcast, Education Forward, where she covers a wide array of educational topics, updates and news on education with experts, parents and community members as guests.
