Nigel Jarrett is a freelance writer, a former newspaper reporter and a winner of the Rhys Davies Prize for short fiction. For many years he was music critic of the South Wales Argus daily newspaper. He reviews poetry for Acumen magazine and jazz for Jazz Journal; he also write for the online Wales Arts Review.
