Movies are one of the most popular subjects that people watch, read, and talk about. It doesn't matter whether they're from the past or the present time. Though I write and talk about the classic era of movies, this book has a combination of old and newer films of today. The idea behind this book is to put two movies together as a double feature on a marquee that gives us a laugh or an interesting connection. If present-day films connect with older ones, they're welcome. I have also added comments to add more humor to what's on the marquees. Those two things tend to enhance the comical interest. The star and the year prove these are real movies. I never made any up.

I grew up in the 50's, which was during the end of the Classic Era in movies. As the years went by, I became a "movie hound". I began watching the old movies and reading hundreds of books about the history of filmdom, which turned me into a "movie buff". Even when I was a young kid, I didn't go just for the entertainment. I always wanted to see the credits before the movie. Through the years, I became familiar with many of the behind-the-camera people. In recent years, I have used the Classic Era of movies in different ways, such as Quizzes, I created Crossword Puzzles, and for the last 8 years, I've been writing about many subjects having to do with Hollywood history called, "The Tidbits". I email one each week to all my readers. I love Hollywood show-biz!
