She has been a Christian since 1981 and a student of the Word, having an associate's degree in Biblical Studies. During that time she has taught children's Sunday school classes and has been a Children's Church coordinator. She has written and directed children's plays and vacation Bible school materials. She is currently a teacher to adults in her local church and has led many Bible studies and small groups. She has been a speaker at Women's Aglow. Before retirement, she was on staff at her church.
