Her career path has taken her around the world, allowing her to exercise her diverse language skills. A passion for the written word not only has culminated in her fiction, but she is also a professional book critic, and, in addition, mentors blossoming writers on their own career paths. Barbara also creates resume portfolio packages to assist job seekers in job interviews.

Barbara lives with her biggest fan - her husband- and they share a love of travel, music, and good food, and they occasionally squabble over the AFC versus NFC divisions of the NFL.
