Autorenporträt
As a mother of three sons and now the grandmother of three grandchildren, Lisa passionately advocates helping young children develop self-esteem. She strongly believes in the importance of teaching and modeling appropriate social behaviors to young children to encourage positive social development. Lisa worked several years as a field advisor for Central New Mexico Community College' s Child Development Program supporting students seeking their child development certification through the Council of Professional Recognition in Washington, D.C. and currently continues to spend time in the classroom with young children. Early Childhood classrooms often have their share of behavioral situations involving social conflicts. Young children are learning how to navigate socially, while learning how to communicate and solve problems. It is the author's hope that this book will be another useful tool to help early childhood educators and parents of young children deal with typical childhood behaviors.
