In the first-half of the 20th century, Gandhi had led stress on environmental pollution. Gandhian ideals of Truth, Nonviolence, equality of human beings, universal brotherhood, decentralized democracy, socialism and secularism would act as beacon lights for the humanity as a whole in the 21st century. Gandhi was probably the most important philosopher whose precepts could guide the crisis ridden world of the 21st century. Thus the present book too focuses the relevance of Gandhian Thought in the 21st century also and hence the importance of this book has increased tremendously.
