Fernando Augusto Fernandes is a lawyer and political scientist. In the 1990s, he unveiled audio archives of the trials of political prisoners in the 1970s. Twenty years later, and through two trials, the Federal Supreme Court reopened the archives and made them public. Using the ¿ les, he launched his master's thesis: "Human Voice - Defense Before the Courts of the Republic," and his doctoral dissertation: "Power and Knowledge - Legal Field and Ideology." As a lawyer, he acted in cases of great repercussion in the superior courts, creating jurisprudence, precedents, and extraordinary precedents. He was the victorious defender of the president of the Lula Institute. Writer and signatory of the habeas corpus for which he obtained the decision to release Lula in 2018. And in the TRF-RS and the complaint in the STF that allowed the entire press to interview him.
