Autorenporträt
Daniel Catton Rich (1904-1976) was the Chief Curator and Director of Fine Arts at the Art Institute of Chicago from 1938-1958, Director of the Worcester Art Museum from 1958-1970, and author of numerous exhibition catalogues, book reviews, and articles on art and artists. He was highly decorated by foreign governments, with honors including the Légion d'Honneur (France), the order of Orange Nassau (Netherlands), and the Cavalieri Order Merit (Italy).
