Autorenporträt
Gerd Wange wurde 1941 in Bonn geboren und hat seinen Wohnsitz in Chile. Nach dem Abitur absolvierte er an der staatlichen Filmakademie in London eine Ausbildung zum Dokumentarfilmer und arbeitete im Anschluss vierzig Jahre auf sechs Kontinenten als freiberuflicher Kameramann und Regisseur. Höhepunkte seiner beruflichen Karriere sind die Mitarbeit an der Dokumentationsreihe ¿Auf der Suche nach der Welt von morgen¿ mit dem Journalisten Rüdiger Proske sowie an der populären Fernsehserie ¿Weltenbummler¿ mit Hardy Krüger. Der engagierte Autor hat bereits zwei Bücher veröffentlicht: ¿Ein Wanderer zwischen den Kulturen¿ (2010) sowie ¿Weltreligion versus Sexualität¿ (2017).
