Melinda Tankard Reist is an author, a commentator, and an advocate with a special interest in issues affecting women and girls. She is the author of Defiant Birth: Women Who Resist Medical Eugenics and Giving Sorrow Words: Women's Stories of Grief After Abortion. She is a spokesperson for Women's Forum Australia and the editor of Faking It: The Female Image in Young Women's Magazines. Noni Hazlehurst is an award-winning Australian actress whose recent work has focused on television for children.
