Christopher A. Kearney, Ph.D., is professor of psychology and Director of the UNLV Child School Refusal and Anxiety Disorders Clinic at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Kearney has published numerous journal articles and books regarding youths with anxiety disorders and school refusal behavior and has worked extensively with this population. In addition to his clinical and research endeavors, Dr. Kearney works closely with school districts around the country to improve strategies for helping children attend school with less distress.
