The author of this novel is the French poet Lamartine (born in 1790 and died in 1869). Whoever examines all of his novels will notice the poetic arrangement of the feelings of the human soul and the inclination to the philosophy of flirtation. The man is purely imaginary, but he increased his imagination until he made it a reality and was creative in describing the illusion until he portrayed it as an example that the eye can barely see. And he manipulated hearts and thoughts in such a way that the people of his time imagined that hearts were standing on his pen and that souls were agitated by the effect of what flowed from his ink. And scholars in France still wonder how a man like this, whose industry was delicate and whose habit was youth and spinning, was in charge of the tasks of strict politics.
