John B. Kachuba is the author of Ghosthunting Ohio, How to Write Funny, and (with his wife, Mary A. Newman, PhD) Why Is This Job Killing Me? His short fiction and nonfiction have been widely published. He is a recent winner of the Dogwood Fiction Prize and has been published in such journals as Tin House, Hawaii Pacific Review, Connecticut Review, Mississippi Quarterly, and others. He holds advanced degrees in creative writing from Antioch University and Ohio University. He currently lives in Athens, Ohio.
