Compounding her uncertain fate is the fact that the fire is still a part of her. Her ability to regulate her gift is as vague as when she was living, and she now has a host of other issues beyond her grasp. She doesn't have command over how and when she can move objects in the living world. She cannot interact with her granddaughter Reese to assist her in managing the fire gene that has been passed down to her. Most importantly, she doesn't have the power to dissuade her former husband Merle from his growing affection for the town harlot.

Autorenporträt

Juniper Black had her first ghost experience when she was an infant. Her mother often would check on her at night and find a smiling, elderly female ghost watching over her as she slept in her crib. From an early age, she was taught how to interact with a spirit should she encounter one and was always encouraged to investigate a strange disturbance rather than run from it.

She currently lives in a magical land called Oregon.
