Autorenporträt

Tommie is a 15-year veteran of civil service working primarily as an emergency medical technician, firefighter and park ranger throughout the western United States. She draws inspiration from the places where she's worked and lived. Her characters grow out of the people she's met along the way in real life and through the pages of local histories.

She currently resides in North Dakota with her dog, two cats, and her best friend, Buck. Together they collect antiques, maintain their vintage vehicles, and enjoy long drives to new places.
