Autorenporträt
Lynne Gross' career centered around television, both as a professor and producer. She was professor and vice chair of the Communication Department at California State University, Fullerton and producer of numerous video productions including a 45-program music history series for public broadcasting and a series of instructional videos produced through the Television Academy. She was also director of programming for a cable TV system. She has written twelve books about media as well as the books in this series of Diary Tales. She has served on the Board of Governors of the TV Academy and as President of the Broadcast Education Association and has received many awards for her contribution to electronic media education. Her overseas work has included teaching and consulting about audio and video in many countries such as Malaysia, Australia, Swaziland, Guyana, and Estonia. Now that she is retired, she volunteers for non-profits, including being on the board for an aquarium located in her hometown of Manhattan Beach, California where she and her husband raised three sons.
