Your typical church is caught in a financial bind. It loses money when it excommunicates people who need to be excommunicated. If it loses enough money then that church will go out of business. But if a church doesn't excommunicate people who openly push evil / Anti-Christian things, then it tramples on 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29, and when it tramples on 1 Cor 11. 27-29 it causes its members to drink damnation into their souls.
Your more glamorous churches, churches with magnificent cathedrals, glittering vestments etc: Rome, the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Church of England, all employ the crucifix. We've been over this info in other books but let's review it again.
The Anglican crucifix is an image of an Anglican version of Jesus on the cross. It is not an image of a Roman Catholic version of Jesus. It is not an image of a version of Jesus who says the Roman Catholic Church and only the Roman Catholic Church leads people to Heaven, all other churches are false churches which lead people to perdition. It is not an image of a Mormon version of Jesus, a version of Jesus who says the Latter Day Saints lead people to Heaven.
The Anglican crucifix is an image of an Anglican version of Jesus, a version of Jesus who says the Church of England is the True Church, the Church that was founded on a rock, recall Matthew 16.13-19. The Anglican crucifix is an image of a version of Jesus who says the Church of England leads people to Heaven.
So, if indeed the Church of England leads people to Heaven, if the Church of England is God's True Church, then of course you can trust the Church of England when she declares her crucifix to be Holy and Sacred.
But if the Church of England is a false church, a church lost in heresy, a church which leads people to eternal perdition, not to Heaven, then this makes the Anglican crucifix the image of a lie. Again, the Anglican crucifix is an image of a version of Jesus who says the Church of England leads people to Heaven. So, it is the image of a lie if, in fact, the True Version of Jesus, the True God, says the Church of England is a false church which leads people to eternal perdition.
If the Anglican crucifix is the image of a lie then it becomes a suspect for the image of the beast mentioned in the Book of Revelation, the beast being a false version of Jesus, a false version which is worshipped by delusional Christians who think they are worshipping the True Version of Jesus.
We reviewed elsewhere the arguments saying the cross is the evil mark of the beast, saying it is evil sacrilege to say the cross is sacred.
If you insist the cross is sacred, and if you are 100% correct about that, and if you simply must put the mark of a cross on your forehead, during the Great Tribulation, to escape the tortures described in Revelation 9...
But if you made a slip-up in your religious thinking, if indeed the cross is the mark of the beast, and if you put the mark of the beast on your forehead, then you burn in Hell forever, see Revelation 14. 11.
Getting back to 1 Cor 11.27-29 - you drink damnation into your soul when you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner. The typical Christian doesn't seem to understand that he tramples on 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29, and therefore drinks damnation into his soul, when he shares the bread and the wine with people who openly promote evil and Anti-Christian things: Sabbath violators, pro-choicers, pro-gay marriage people etc.
Lots of SCAM CHURCHES out there! They lose lots of money if they excommunicate too many people. So, they don't excommunicate people who must be excommunicated.
So, you drink damnation into your soul when you share the bread and the wine with people who openly promote evil or Anti-Christian things.
The SCAM CHURCHES, not wanting to lose money, refuse to excommunicate them.
