Terry Ruscin is an author, photographer, historian and retired advertising executive. Ruscin is a member of the Henderson County Genealogical and Historical Society, Historic Flat Rock Inc., Hendersonville's Design Review Advisory Committee overseeing the city's historic districts and a commissioner with the Henderson County Historic Resources Commission.
