V. Sujatha is Professor at the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. She specialises in the fields of sociology of knowledge and sociology of health and medicine. Her research focuses on the dynamic interface between scientific knowledge, state policy and societal perspectives.
