Many people think that Zionism is an ancient religious movement, and that it is linked to the promises made to Hebron Abraham - peace be upon him. In reality, it is not a religious movement, nor is it an ancient movement among the children of Israel themselves, but rather a political movement affiliated with the establishment of the state and its fall in the House of David. If we return to the word "Zion" itself, we do not find an agreed upon origin for it in the Hebrew language, and most commentators suggest that it is of Arabic origin, with a counterpart in the Ethiopian language, and that it is a material for preservation and fortification, and it was actually one of the fortresses of the high hills. What is meant by Arabic here is the language of the indigenous people of the Peninsula who inhabited the land of Palestine hundreds of years before the migration of the Hebrews.
