Produktbeschreibung
Read how this family walked through, twenty-six year old, Corion Reed's journey with ABI and kidney failure. This memoir, chronicled by his mother, tells of their six-year battle to maintain faith and hope despite difficult circumstances. The author sets a warm inviting tone framed by scripture, using descriptive language, journal entries and Facebook posts to bring you into each moment. You'll soon discover the story is not only about his illness, but more importantly written to share how God was present and orchestrated each moment every step of the way. Corion encouraged his mom to "write everything down" so his story may be told in a way that would not only serve as a memorial, but in his words, "change the world". As you read their revelations, you will discover some revelations of your own, and how God's presence may be seen clearer in all our lives.

Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow. (Job 8:19)

PRAISE FROM READERS:

"This (book) is phenomenal. I'm just happy to know you and to be part of your journey. This is helping me to be better and look at things differently" K.Lawston

"I can picture everything you're writing like a movie but Real Life, a Real Miracle and the one and only Real God!!! You got me crying, laughing, full of chills thanking and praising God after only 2 chapters! Thanks for allowing God to bless my house through you!" S. Stewart

"It is amazing! I had the pleasure of feeling like I was in those moments with you guys. I"m so amazed at all the things he said. As I always say, this will change lives. Definitely helping me in this season I'm currently facing! Thank you for your obedience." A. Hunter

"Where do I even begin? I will start by saying this book is a tearjerker FOR SURE!! You won't have to read too much before you'll need the Kleenex so go ahead and grab a box beforehand!! I can say with much confidence that this book is a must read!! This book is not only telling a story about a young man's journey with a particular illness, but it tells how God was present during that journey and how they would later realize that things were going according to God's plan and not that of his family. I want to make sure I mention upfront the tone that was set from the author. Looking back at the choice of words the author used it definitely gave the feeling of someone kindly inviting you into their home wanting to fix you a cup of coffee or tea and wanting to exchange heartfelt stories. You instantly begin to feel like you know her personally. The words were not big and intimidating, nor coming of as aggressive. I especially like how the author is using this time to be a teachable moment for whomever reads this book (which I am sure is the intent) by implementing statements that assure or reassure to the reader how God plays a part in all our lives as well and how to recognize God. Every scripture listed under the chapters made me anxious to see what was listed for the chapters ahead.

This book could easily just tell how God showed up in Corion and his family's life but again it demonstrated how He is present in all of our lives." S.Lee

1 Corinthians 2:1-5
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
