The interpretation of God who is Mother throws light on the sanctity of motherhood; it brings the mother into the true image and likeness of God our Father. It also offers a more complete picture of the spiritual parenthood of God. I write here without a sense of fear or conscience that I am diminishing the majesty of Almighty God in any way.
