'God Promised Me Wings to Fly: Life for Survivors After a Tragedy' is an emotional account of Janet V. Grillo's life after the devastating loss of her husband. Facing the broken pieces of her existence, she leaned on her Christian faith to find strength and learn to live once more. She shares her journey with readers through heartfelt writing, illustrating how her beliefs guided her through challenging times. Janet V. Grillo, originally from Wilmington, Delaware, relocated to Viera, Florida in 2014 and now calls it home. Sadly, she faced the devastating challenge of rebuilding her life after her husband died by suicide. Finding strength in her faith, she learned to embrace life once more. She has since become a strong advocate for suicide awareness, founding the nonprofit Journey of Hope Survivors Inc. to help others who have suffered similar losses. In addition to her dedication to the nonprofit sector, Janet also hosts a podcast named Victims to Victory and holds the CEO position at Veterans Suicide Awareness. She's also the designer of the Veterans Suicide Awareness flag, an emblem with national acclaim.
