I find myself pondering ideas and I start praying about what God may want me to tell people who might read my poems. Usually, I feel drawn to the computer and it seems as if the words just flow out of me and through my fingers onto the page. Because of Gods help, I dont claim the end product totally as MY own, because I definitely feel that I have divine help along the way from thought to product. All I pray is that all the thoughts I have brought to the pages of this little book will help someone with encouragement, a feeling of being understood and maybe even a sense of being enabled to cope…mehr

Autorenporträt
Ingrid Cowan was born in Berlin, Germany, on June 19, 1927. She left Germany in November 1958 and became a U.S. citizen on May 1, 1963. Her work life was varied and often depended on her husband being transferred to different places. Cowan worked as a journalist for two different newspapers and as a reporter for TV in Mississippi. She was a legal secretary. Two years ago, Ingrid Cowan published her first book, The Shadow of the Hakenkreuz, her biography of life as a child and teenager during the Hitler years in Berlin, Germany. Ingrid's second book, "Heroes in Peace and War: Military Families", was published in 2013.
