James A. Beverley, PhD, is research professor at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto and associate director of the Institute for the Study of American Religion in Woodway, Texas. Author of fifteen books, Professor Beverley has taught in Asia, Europe, Africa, and throughout North America. He has been an expert witness on religion in both civil and criminal trials.
