Under Estelle's leadership, they embarked on their journey, traversing foothills on ATVs. To their surprise, they encountered another group of ATVs on their trail, led by Lofton, a geologist, accompanied by two hydro dam workers and his female assistant. United by the compelling evidence of a massive gold nugget, the two groups had no real choice but to continue together. As they delved deeper, they uncovered that the source of the gold likely emanated from an underground river, necessitating the use of scuba gear for further exploration.

The subterranean journey tested them physically and, more significantly, mentally, over several days. The allure of abundant gold sparked dreams of glorious futures, leading to the formation of alliances and the emergence of enemies within the small group. Despite the challenges, forgiveness prevailed when they stumbled upon the almost intact legendary lost village of Goldum. However, tensions escalated when Estelle, asserting her rightful claim as the heir to the village and its fortune, warned the skeptical group that extracting any gold would result in the demise of them all.
