Miguel A. De La Torre is a scholar-activist tenured as professor of social ethics and Latino/a studies at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado. Since obtaining his doctorate in 1999, he has published over thirty-five books, five of which won national awards. He served as the president of the Society of Christian Ethics in 2012, and he wrote the screenplay for the documentary Trails of Hope and Terror (www.trailsofhopeandterrorthemovie.com)
