A 14k word why-choose gothic fairytale retelling meets sports romance. A non-erotic prequel to the SPICY main book.
After being told by the magic mirror that she is no longer the fairest of them all, one evil step-mother sends an even more evil huntsman after Stella White, forcing her to hide in a tiny pocket of the human world, far, far away from the prying eyes of the faerie realm.
There, she stumbles into the world of seven star hockey players on the Timberland Wolves, a small-town college hockey team in the Canadian Rockies.
They agree to let her stay with them, seeing as she has nowhere else to go...
But, they had no idea what they were in for...
How easy it is to fall for a faerie princess.
Especially when she sleeps in each of their rooms for one night each week...
What will happen when every guy loses his heart to a faerie princess being hunted by a psychotic huntsman?
A why-choose romance. First book, no spice, lots of action and adventure; subsequent books, more erotic cozy romance.

It just dawned on me that maybe her innocent-doe act was just thatan act. My heart sank as I considered that this might be some ploy on her part to sleep with me. Before I could say anything else though, she spoke.
"You don't think I'm a witch right?" she blurted out, then looked like she wished she'd kept her mouth shut.
I crinkled my brow before bursting into a surprised laugh. "Why would we think you were a witch?"
"Because you all were standing there with pitchforks in your hands," she muttered meekly, looking down and twiddling her thumbs.
I couldn't stop laughing at that. I must have been too tired. "You mean, our hockey sticks?"
"Hockey sticks?" she sounded out the words slowly, as if they were completely foreign to her, looking confused.
I didn't have time to explain to this chick what the game of hockey was.
But, if she didn't know what hockey was, then she probably wasn't coming after us for our hockey star status, at least.
"Why do you have bombs lying around your living room?" Her next question startled another bark of laughter from me.
"Bombs?" I asked, perplexed.
"Those black circular blocks scattered all over the place. Those are explosives, right?"
She looked completely serious, but I knew she had to be pulling my leg. "You mean, pucks? Hockey pucks?"
She scrunched up her face, entirely unaware of how cute she looked at that moment. I averted my gaze.
