Chi Zhang is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of St Andrews and an Associate Member of the Handa Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence. She has published in journals Terrorism and Political Violence, Studies in Conflict & Terrorism, Politics and Religion and Asian Security. She is the editor of Human Security in China: A Post-Pandemic State.
Binh Trinh graduated from the University of Leeds in 2020 with a doctoral degree in Politics and International Studies. Her PhD thesis focuses on narratives and life histories of women working in NGOs in post-socialist Vietnam Her work lies at the intersection of political economy, development studies and anthropology. She is specialised in qualitative research and fieldwork studies. Her research specialisation is on gender, civil society, NGOs, governance and governmentality.
