Like a new born baby with innocent mind, oblivious of what lurks in the environment, he opened his eyes to appreciate everything he sees. Everything spelt beauty and wonder for the innocent man. He had no foreknowledge of God, nor prior knowledge of the adversary; yet these are two huge influences that will determine his fate. These two - Jehovah - the loving -owner and creator; and the adversary - Lucifer - are in contention for man's loyalty. While the owner labors to attract and retain man's loyalty, the adversary programs detraction for man. Thus man becomes object for contention. He became victim and captive of the adversary, and lost his dominion in exchange for knowledge of good and evil. Nevertheless, he obtained pardon from the Almighty, though he didn't solicit for it. God gave him this pardon because he had no foreknowledge of the adversary and his mission. Knowledge of good and evil qualifies him to use his conscience to discern good and evil, and choose to do good. Codes of conduct or rules and regulations that will protect and make him stronger than the adversary are given him by the Owner. His strength, safety and eternal destiny now depends on who he yields his loyalty to. Both contenders are laboring ceaselessly for your loyalty. The Almighty sacrificed His Son Jesus Christ to pay for your sins and secure your loyalty; and is following up on that every day. "But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work." Joh 5:17 The adversary also has restless days scheming and inventing ideas and things to lure man away from God for his destruction. "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" 1Pe 5:8 This book reveals much of the latest agenda of the enemy to detract man and seal his doom, so that the earth man will be better equipped to be sober, vigilant and escape destruction by the adversary.
