They were everywhere you went. From age 12 to 17 I stared at those walls and the secrets they held. From the Hospital, my care transferred into the hands of relatives. They sent me to a cult down south. They did horrible things to me in the name of Jesus. I escaped from there and soon my life began to turn for the better. I realized I had hope. Am now 64 years old and live in a Nursing Home. For 15 years as an Executive Director I spent years helping consumers of Mental Health by shining a light on their path as they found their way out.I met many wonderful people on my journey and will never forget them.
