Autorenporträt

Muffy Kashkin Grollier has been actively involved in the early childhood field for over thirty years as owner and operator of a Five Star child care program in her home. She has a bachelors degree in human services, and is a member of the National Association for Family Child Care, as well as a child care network leader in her state. This field enables Muffy to draw on all her passions: literature, art, and teaching children and adults. She works with children from birth to school age.

Muffy has been an artist all her life. She attended the University of Hartford Art School and Massachusetts College of Art. She continues her artistic studies independently and has participated in a number of juried gallery shows. She became interested in needle-felting about eight years ago, and using a special felting needle she creates two- and three-dimensional art. Gregory is illustrated with this needle-felting technique.

This is a unique medium for illustration.

Muffy lives with her husband, golden retriever, two cats, and a flock of geese in her big, old farmhouse in Orwell, Vermont.
