Autorenporträt

Author H J van de Koppel was born in Holland in 1956. Early in his business career, in early 1978 he moved to Madrid. His professional experiences in international business and extensive travel gave him the opportunity to build up a very close and intimate knowledge of the international financial system.

Since 1993 H J van de Koppel has been working as an independent corporate finance professional. He now advises a variety of international companies. His work takes him regularly to Vienna, London, Madrid and Turkey. 'Grillos' (the Spanish for 'crickets') is his first book. He is now well advanced with a sequel. Married with two children, he now lives in London.

His first book 'Grillos' is described as a crime thriller which tells of one man's mission to expose the corrupt link between the drugs trade and the highest level of government. This leads him into contact with some extremely powerful people who take a dislike to the attention. Very soon his life is hanging by a thread - shocking and erotically charged, 'Grillos' is a compelling read from start to finish.
