An associate professor of clinical medicine, Dr. B has taught medical students from the University of South Dakota for forty-six years, along with students in nursing, nurse practitioner, and physician assistant programs. An accomplished climber, kayaker, diver, marksman, and archer, he has explored the wilderness in search of adventure. Staring a grizzly down at ten yards or cutting his way out of a logjam while rafting the icy waters of the Alaska wilderness brought him a new level of adrenaline rush.
