Autorenporträt
David Fermer ist Brite und lebt als freier Autor in Köln. Er wurde 1973 in der Schweiz geboren, wuchs in Großbritannien auf, studierte Kunst und anschließend Film und Fernsehen in London und Berlin. Nach dem Filmstudium arbeitete er einige Jahre als Produktionsleiter für Film und Fernsehen, danach als Kunst- und Englischlehrer an internationalen Schulen in Peru und Berlin. Seit 2004 schreibt er Kinder- und Jugendbücher und macht Dokumentarfilme für den WDR und das ZDF.
