She studied art and design at Appalachian State University, Penland School of Craft, and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. After earning a Master of Fine Arts degree from East Carolina University in 2013, she followed her passion of teaching workshops and classes around the world, online and in person. Liz is a Top Teacher on Skillshare, a designation for the top 1% of teachers.
