Autorenporträt
Tobias Stauber obtained his PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Heidelberg, Germany in 2002 in the group of Prof. F. Wegner on "Flow Equations for Hamiltonians". He then continued with his postdoctoral studies at the Material Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Spain with Prof. F. Guinea on studies related to graphene. He later was an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Minho, Portugal (2008/09) and at the University Autónoma of Madrid, Spain (2010/13). Since 2014, he is a tenured scientist at the ICMM, CSIC in Madrid. His research focus is on the electric and optical response of graphene and related two-dimensional materials. He is the co-author of 74 ISI-classified articles including 2 articles published in Science with more than 7800 citations and h-factor 28 (Web-of-Science of Dec. 2018). He further acts as co-editor for New Journal of Physics and European Physical Journal B.
